NON-FORMAL EDUCATION FOR THE PROMOTION OF SAFE AND INCLUSIVE CHEERLEADING ENVIRONMENTS

The “CHEER THEM UP!” project was an Erasmus+ project focused on enhancing the technical and scientific knowledge of cheerleading coaches and sports staff across Europe, addressing safety and risk management comprehensively. It involved a partnership with between Denmark’s Rockets Cheerleaders and Italian Sprint ASD (also known as Alba Cheer Titans) and Cheer IQ, facilitating mobility, job shadowing, and coaching assignments.

Cheer IQ played a crucial role in testing the improvement and learning outcomes of participants. The project aimed to promote cheerleading, increase its popularity, and foster social inclusion, equality, and environmentally-friendly lifestyles through sports.
